The GPMPC held their monthly meeting at Liberty Hall, Union N.J., at the home of New Jersey's first governor, William Livingston.

In 1800, Polish Statesman Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz married Susan Livingston, the neice of William Livingston. Julian was a close friend of Kazimierz Pulaski and Tadeusz  Kosciuszko who came to the United States to help in the American Revolutionary War.  It was during this time that he met and soon after married Susan Livingston.

A tour of this beautiful landmark showcased Polish crystal dining room placesettings and a huge hand carved wooden desk brought from Poland.  There were also documents on display written in Polish and love letters from Julian Niemcewicz to his wife Susan while he was in prisoned in Poland.

The public is welcomed to visit Liberty Hall.          https://libertyhall.kean.edu/
